1. Rediscovering Arizona's Frontier
- For this project I gathered ephemera from specialized collections and created the public display.
2. The New Deal
- I performed the research and gathering of ephemera from specialized collections and prepared items for future display
date.
3. Frank Hoyt Photograph Collection
- Mr. Hoyt was a photographer who took thousands of photos of Arizona. I cataloged the photos in the appropriate database.
4. Chuck Huggins' Papers
- Mr. Huggins was very active in the early labor movement in Arizona and left extensive papers to ASU's special collections.
I cataloged the papers in the appropriate database.
SKILLS DEVELOPED
- Proficiency in the Access database
- Proficiency using the light table to match photos to negatives
- Detailed Internet and field searches taught me how to make effecient and productive searches
- Using psychological theory as it relates to people's preferences is such things as color and order, learned how to create
eye catching and appealing displays
